A step inside Portobello

I am very excited to share this little video something I did a while ago with the help of some beautiful friends. This was the first time I had ever been to this place. Portobello Road is a street in the Notting Hill district of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It runs almost the length of Notting Hill from south to north. On Saturdays it is home to Portobello Road Market, one of London's notable street markets, known for its second-hand clothes and antiques.

Its distinctiveness does not rely only on its market. A range of communities inhabiting the street and the district contributes to a cosmopolitan and energetic atmosphere. The architecture plays a part too, as the road meanders and curves gracefully along most of its length, unlike the more formally planned layout of most of the nearby area.

If you have a love for vintage this is the place to visit, you can bury yourself away beneath all the vintage clothing and antiques, it feels like your stepping back in time.
Whilst exploring you meet some beautiful characters, which really bring the streets alive. Reenacting periods during the war this dynamic little street has been starred in many films and TV shows, so be sure to check it out.

Watch me explore round as I interview lots of different people from different  cultures and eras, there's music and singers, it really is a place to get lost in! If you want to find that one of  piece that know one else has and you just don't like shopping on the high street you can be sure to find those little gems here.
Years ago I used to only ever where vintage clothing so that I could be different from everyone, this defiantly would have been the ideal place for me even the smell oozes out vintage. Hope you all enjoy :)
